Dr. Lisa F. Zhang of One Oak Medical is a highly skilled and empathetic Foot and Ankle Physician & Surgeon. Dr. Lisa Zhang is Board Qualified by the ABFAS, and it is her pleasure to treat patients in Wayne, Paramus, and Clifton.

Dr. Zhang excelled at Westfield High School, where she graduated in the top 1% of her class. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University with a double major in high honors in Microbiology and History. She was involved with EMS - running over 100 hours a semester as an EMT – and academic research on pathogenic species affecting the human gut.

She graduated at the top of her class at Temple University of Podiatric Medicine – top 10% - where she focused on the Foot and Ankle in the realm of the entire body. Her academic credentials earned her a residency spot at UMDNJ, where she completed 3 years of Foot and Ankle surgery at one of the NJ’s few Level 1 Trauma Centers. She performed surgeries at UMDNJ, Hackensack University Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Holy Name Medical Center, and Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center. She performed over 750 surgeries in the course of her intensive training, and equally treated patients in the outpatient setting skillfully with a focus on the patient as a whole.

In her free time, Dr. Zhang enjoys pilates inspired ballet, yoga, and swimming. As a former NJ Junior Olympian in the 100-yard backstroke, Dr. Zhang is a lifelong athlete and focuses on functionality. Dr. Zhang is fluent in both English and Mandarin, and is conversational in French.
